Qatar provides support to dialysis patients in Syria
Makassed Charitable Hospital, under
the Ministry
of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, has signed a cooperation agreement with Qatar Charity to enhance healthcare
services for Syrian refugee patients undergoing kidney dialysis funded by the
charity.
The partnership seeks to strengthen
humanitarian collaboration, improve service quality, and ensure continued
access to vital medical care for vulnerable communities.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Bassam Shaloul, Director-General of Makassed Hospital, and Dharar Maaytah, Director of Qatar Charity’s Jordan Office.
Both parties reaffirmed their shared
commitment to advancing medical and humanitarian efforts, expanding healthcare
access, and supporting disadvantaged groups — particularly Syrian refugees who
rely on lifesaving dialysis treatment.
