Qatar Charity's role in social and humanitarian causes appreciated
Qatar Charity (QC) was recognized
for its contributions to social and humanitarian work during a ceremony held
alongside the meetings of GCC ministers and heads of civil service, labour, and
social affairs agencies in Kuwait.
QC CEO Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Kuwari
received the honorary shield in the presence of Minister of Labour HE Dr Ali
bin Samikh Al Marri, Minister of Social Development and Family HE Buthaina bint
Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi, and Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, President of the
Civil Service and Government Development Bureau and Secretary-General of the
National Planning Council.

The event was attended by Kuwait’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Shaikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, GCC Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, and other senior officials.
Qatar Charity was commended as one of Qatar’s leading civil society organisations, recognised for its extensive humanitarian and social initiatives at home and abroad. The honour also reflects its role in advancing sustainable development goals and reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian responsibility.
