Qatari Prime Minister discusses Gaza situation with Palestinian Vice President
Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met in
Doha on Sunday with HE Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of
Palestine, to review bilateral ties and the latest developments in Gaza and the
occupied Palestinian territories.
Discussions focused on strengthening
cooperation, addressing shared concerns, and coordinating efforts to alleviate
the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

HE the Prime Minister underscored the urgent need for concerted regional and international action to ensure the safe, sustained delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in the enclave, who continue to face dire living conditions.
He also reaffirmed Qatar’s steadfast
position in support of the Palestinian cause, stressing the importance of
resilience and unity for the Palestinian people. Qatar, he noted, remains
committed to international legitimacy and a two-state solution—envisioning an
independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as
its capital.
