Qatar Charity has continued its “Feed the Fasting” initiative, distributing Ramadan food baskets in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Georgia, and Cote d’Ivoire. This effort is part of the organisation’s Ramadan campaign, “Good Starts With You”, supported by donors in Qatar.

The distributions are conducted in coordination with Qatari embassies to assist underprivileged families and ease hardships during the holy month of Ramadan. The project provides essential food items, ensuring families have sufficient provisions for the entire month.

In Pakistan, more than 6,888 vulnerable individuals in Rawalpindi, Punjab—including women-headed households, persons with disabilities, orphans, and the elderly—received Ramadan food baskets.

In Georgia, Qatar Charity, working alongside the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Tbilisi, distributed Ramadan food baskets in multiple regions to assist families in need.

In Cote d’Ivoire, the initiative benefited 520 families—around 3,200 individuals—in collaboration with the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Abidjan. Rashid bin Humaidi Al Muqarrah, Acting Charge d’Affaires at the embassy, participated in the distribution, which also included hot Iftar meals for the most vulnerable communities in West Africa.
