Qatar parachuting team clinches gold in
Netherlands in its first major international title
Qatar’s national parachuting team captured its
first major international title, winning gold at the 24th FAI World Parachuting
Championship in the Netherlands.
The competition brought together elite skydiving
teams from around the globe. Qatar finished first with 181 points, ahead of two
U.S. teams, Prison 9 and Mandatory Fun.

Representing the Qatar Air Sports Committee and the Joint Special Forces, the team competed in the Cohesion Octagon formation skydiving category.
The gold-medal lineup included Abdullah Al
Hammadi, Salem Al Sunaid, Khalifa Al Ali, Ghanem Al Kubaisi, Bilal Al Hajjaj,
Abdullah Salem, Saad Al Ali, Mohammed Shams, and Saleh Mohammed Al Mohannadi.
