Pakistani defense delegation discusses defense ties with Qatari leadership

The visit took place during the second round of the Higher Military Cooperation Committee (HMCC) meeting between the two countries

Pakistan, Qatar review evolving regional security dynamics  

Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, leading a Pakistani military delegation on an official visit to Qatar, met Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani and Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Lt General (Pilot) Jassim Mohammad Ahmed Al-Mannal in Doha on August 4.

The visit took place during the second round of the Higher Military Cooperation Committee (HMCC) meeting between the two countries.

Both sides reviewed the evolving regional security environment and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace and stability at regional and global levels.

General Mirza underscored the historic brotherly ties between Pakistan and Qatar and discussed future avenues of collaboration in defense and security within the HMCC framework.
