Visit Qatar invites GCC travelers to enjoy country's vibrant winter season

Visit Qatar has launched its latest marketing initiative, Winter in Qatar 2026, inviting travelers from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) to experience the country’s vibrant winter season, packed with cultural, adventure, and family-friendly activities.

Building on the success of the Moments Made For You campaign, the new edition highlights how Qatar creates unforgettable, tailored experiences for every type of visitor—whether seeking desert thrills, cultural treasures, luxury escapes, or entertainment-packed city breaks.

The first campaign video, released today, stars Kuwaiti content creator and theatre actor Khaled Abdullah Al Mouzaffar. Known for his energetic digital storytelling, Al Mouzaffar embarks on an adventure with friends, from dune bashing at Sealine to the electrifying atmosphere of UFC Fight Night. The film captures Qatar’s unique blend of adrenaline, culture, and world-class entertainment.

In the coming weeks, two additional videos will be launched, featuring popular regional creators. Among them are Farah and Aqeel, whose warm, family-oriented content—often featuring their young son Adam—resonates widely with regional audiences, as well as Lebanese entrepreneur and fashion influencer Karen Wazen, who brings her signature style and family-focused storytelling to the campaign.

The videos showcase Qatar’s most iconic winter attractions, from the dramatic landscapes of Ras Abrouq and the luxury of Zulal Wellness Resort to the elegance of Place Vendôme. They also highlight the charm of Msheireb Downtown, the vibrancy of Souq Waqif, and Katara’s cultural landmarks, alongside culinary highlights at the Qatar International Food Festival and family favourites such as Mina District and Angry Birds World at Doha Festival City.

With Qatar just a short flight from most GCC cities, travelers benefit from seamless access. Citizens of GCC states enjoy visa-free entry using only their national ID card, with expedited arrival procedures at Hamad International Airport. Overland visitors can also enter easily via the Abu Samra border.
