Jordan and Qatar join hands to send dozens of aid trucks to war-torn Syria
The Jordan Hashemite Charity
Organization (JHCO) announced on Thursday the dispatch of two humanitarian aid
convoys to Syria, part of a wider Arab initiative to support the country during
its ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The operation included 14 trucks
from Jordan and 27 from Qatar, carrying food and medical supplies. JHCO
Secretary-General Hussein Shibli said the joint effort reflects a coordinated
Jordanian-Qatari response to assist Syrians affected by recent unrest in Sweida
Governorate.
