Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani participated in the Qatar Vision 2030 session at the Asia Leaders Conference, organized by Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong, where senior representatives from leading Asian corporations and prominent Qatari business leaders discussed opportunities for economic cooperation and investment.

The session highlighted Qatar’s strategic roadmap for sustainable development under the Qatar National Vision 2030, emphasizing economic diversification, innovation, and global partnerships.

On the sidelines, Sheikh Faisal held high-level meetings with executives from major international companies. Discussions with Xiaomi focused on potential collaboration in cloud data centres, supply chain development, and digital transformation initiatives. Talks with Baidu explored cooperation in robotaxi technologies, regional cloud computing services, and the company’s potential regional expansion.

Sheikh Faisal underscored Qatar’s commitment to fostering partnerships with global industry leaders to drive knowledge transfer, innovation, and investment. He noted that participation in international platforms such as the Asia Leaders Conference provides a unique opportunity to showcase Qatar’s progress and ambitions while supporting the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
