The Qatar Gymnastics Federation has established Doha as a premier destination for international gymnastics teams, thanks to its world-class training facilities and its annual hosting of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, Federation President Ali Al Hitmi said on Thursday.

In the coming weeks, Doha will host pre-World Cup training camps for teams from Luxembourg, Jordan, Armenia, and Algeria, with discussions ongoing to welcome the Brazilian national team.

As part of its development initiatives, the Federation has launched a collaborative program between the Qatari and Indonesian women’s teams to promote skill-sharing and competitive readiness ahead of major tournaments. The Indonesian squad is currently training in Doha ahead of the Pharaohs Artistic Gymnastics Championship in Cairo later this month and the World Championships in Jakarta in October.

Indonesia’s head coach Eva Grace praised Doha’s training center as one of the region’s top facilities, highlighting its advanced equipment, integrated fitness and medical services, and professional coaching infrastructure as key reasons for attracting international teams.
