Doha offers premium facilities for global gymnastics teams
The Qatar Gymnastics Federation has established Doha as a premier destination for international gymnastics teams, thanks to its world-class training facilities and its annual hosting of the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, Federation President Ali Al Hitmi said on Thursday.
In the coming weeks, Doha will host
pre-World Cup training camps for teams from Luxembourg, Jordan, Armenia, and
Algeria, with discussions ongoing to welcome the Brazilian national team.

As part of its development
initiatives, the Federation has launched a collaborative program between the
Qatari and Indonesian women’s teams to promote skill-sharing and competitive
readiness ahead of major tournaments. The Indonesian squad is currently
training in Doha ahead of the Pharaohs Artistic Gymnastics Championship in
Cairo later this month and the World Championships in Jakarta in October.
Indonesia’s head coach Eva Grace
praised Doha’s training center as one of the region’s top facilities,
highlighting its advanced equipment, integrated fitness and medical services,
and professional coaching infrastructure as key reasons for attracting international
teams.
