QMC, Al Jazeera Media Network to collaborate in media training
Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) has
signed a cooperation agreement with Al Jazeera Media Network, represented by
the Al Jazeera Media Institute (AJMI), aimed at strengthening collaboration in
media training and production.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah
Ghanem Al Muhannadi, Director of QMC’s Office of International Cooperation and
Agreements, and Eman Al Amri, Director of AJMI, in the presence of officials
from both organisations.
Under the partnership, the two sides
will develop specialised training programmes to build national media
competencies, while also offering hands-on training within AJMI’s studios and
facilities. The agreement further covers workshops, technical consultations,
and initiatives designed to align Qatar’s media sector with global standards.

Al Muhannadi described the deal as a
“strategic cooperation” that underscores QMC’s commitment to investing in
knowledge and developing skilled media professionals. He added that the
initiative marks an important step toward establishing a comprehensive national
media system that meets international benchmarks.
Al Amri welcomed the partnership,
noting that AJMI will dedicate its expertise and resources to enhance training
opportunities for QMC professionals. She stressed that the agreement reflects a
shared vision to strengthen Qatar’s media landscape, provide advanced skills,
and create an integrated environment for innovation and professional growth.
